Words From Our Founder
My name is Paul Huynh, and I am a testament to the transformative power of faith. Like the biblical figure Saul, I too underwent a profound conversion that changed the course of my life. It was through my encounter with Jesus that I became Paul, a new person with a new mission to share God's love with others.
But my journey was not without its challenges. After spending 25 years and 4 months behind bars, I was released from prison with little support or guidance. I was faced with the daunting task of rebuilding my life from scratch, with no clear direction or resources to turn to.
It was during this difficult time that I realized the harsh reality of the recidivism crisis, which affects so many individuals who, like me, are released from incarceration without proper support systems in place. I knew that something needed to change, and that's when my wife and I decided to start God's Way Prison Ministry.
Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping soon-to-be and recently released prisoners successfully navigate the reentry process by providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive. This includes arranging housing, paid work opportunities, and job training, all while sharing God's love and message of hope.
We believe every person deserves a second chance, and that with the right support and guidance, anyone can overcome the challenges of reentry and lead a fulfilling purposeful life. At God's Way Prison Ministry, we are committed to helping individuals achieve their goals and reach their full potential, one step at a time.
